GEOMATE APP PRIVACY POLICY

PalmBit LLC ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our mobile application GeoMate (the "App").

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We adhere to the principle of data minimization. The App does not require account creation, registration, or entry of personal data (such as name, email, or phone number).

However, to ensure the App functions, we and our partners may automatically collect the following technical data:

A. Device Data and Identifiers

We use anonymous device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID for Android or IDFA for iOS, as well as the App User ID from RevenueCat) to:

• Manage subscriptions and provide premium access.
• Display personalized ads (in the free version).
• Analyze usage statistics to improve the App.

B. Geolocation Data

The App requests access to your device's geolocation to display your location on the map and search for nearby objects (e.g., restrooms or attractions).

• We do NOT store your movement history on our servers.
• Geolocation data is processed in real-time on your device.

2. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you (on an anonymous basis). Below are links to the privacy policies of the providers used:

• Google AdMob (Advertising): Used to display ads to free version users. May use cookies and advertising identifiers.
• RevenueCat (Payments): Used to process subscriptions and restore purchases. Associates purchase status with an anonymous device ID.
• Google Maps SDK (Maps): Used to display maps and routes.
• Supabase (Database): Used to load content (articles and map points). We do not store personal user data in our database.

3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use the collected technical data exclusively to:

• Provide App features (maps, content).
• Process purchases and provide Premium access.
• Display advertising (via Google AdMob).
• Fix bugs and improve performance.

4. GDPR & CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the UK, we request consent for personal data processing to display ads (via the Google UMP SDK consent form) upon the first launch of the App. You can change your choice in your device settings.

5. SECURITY

Since we do not collect direct personal data (emails, passwords), the risk of your personal data leaking from our systems is minimized. All interaction with servers occurs via the secure SSL protocol.
